We groom the ski trails multiple times each week.  Every time we go out we try to update this website with a report.  It takes a full day to groom the entire trail network.  Sometimes when we have large snowfalls (greater than 8 inches), the grooming effort will span a couple of days.

Our grooming equipment consists of a large snowmobile and three different grooming implements. We have a TiddTech Roller that looks like a large culvert on an axle that is used early season and whenever we have large snowfalls to basically pack down the snow.  Then we have a TiddTech Tenderizer which is our light weight groomer that weighs around 150 lbs.  It has been in use on the trails since we started.  We use it early season to help build in the base and sometimes with large snowfalls when we can't pull the big groomer.  Finally we have a TiddTech G2 groomer that weighs in at around 300 lbs.   The G2 has 60 harrow teeth that can be used to break up icy conditions and get them back to skiable conditions.  Whenever the conditions are right and the snowmobile can pull the G2 we prefer grooming with it because it can really work the snow and set up a great skiable trail.

Beaver Brook Farm is also the Northeast demonstration center for TiddTech equipment.  Many times during the winter, groomers from other cross country ski centers will visit us to test out the TiddTech equipment.  We benefit by spending lots of time with other groomers and sharing advise on different grooming techniques.

For the skier this all means that we are using the latest grooming equipment pull-able by a snowmobile and trying to set the best conditions possible with what Mother Nature gives us.
